Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure are included.
The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed
The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to begin their independent quest, separate from the additional parties.
This warrior group includes Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).
The Reason for Division
Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.
Hence, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Explorers.
What Defines the Warrior Group
According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.
At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the developments of episode 3 demonstrate why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.
Why They Must Go
To begin with, the group knows exactly where to head next after a violent opening clash with The Crow Keepers.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose death initiated the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.
The antagonist then cleared his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, above the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.
Personal Motivations
Moreover, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:
- The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires retribution.
- Kattigan knows the region and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
- The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
- But, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could help the team enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, The fighter vowed a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control the setting for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:
- Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
- Tyranny and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
- The target is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.
This results in them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight players to assemble the Seekers and Schemers tables.
